In this episode we try hard hard to disguise our ambivalence regarding the start of the new season in a couple of week’s time.  We muster up enough enthusiasm to chat about the forthcoming Tour Down Under and the winners & losers in the Pro Team selection process.

We have an early nomination for VCDL Woman of the Year, in the shape of Australia’s Chloe Hosking who, in our opinion, was extremely restrained when she referred to Uncle Pat as “a dick”.

In a fashion segment that would make Gok Wan swell with pride (swollen Gok?) we discuss some of the hits & misses in new team kit design.

Taking to the dirt we discuss the latest developments in the ongoing DH1 saga and the rumoured partnership between Red Bull & the UCI which may see DH1 stillborn before the season even gets underway.

We have some news of friend-of-the-pod, Tracy Moseley’s plans for the season which will see her diversify her activities, competing in disciplines other than downhill.
