In this episode, Bertie bags a bride. We discuss Contador’s recent nuptials and his ongoing CAS hearing which should be entering its endgame.
We also discuss the Rasmussens, Alex & Michael, one of whom has escaped the wrath of the UCI and the other who was trying to escape the wrath of his wife & we have some discussion about the possible line-up of Team GB for next year’ Olympic Road Race.
In mountain bike news, we look at how the DH1 series is shaping up with the announcement of countries but, other than Maribor, no actual venues yet. But everything looks smooth as they contemplate a Brazilian.
We inadvertently challenge ourselves to ride the Scottish Bike Show Sportive but avoid getting roped into the rather epic Haute Route. In our first ever cyclocross segment, we give a big shout out to our pals Dave & John who have produced an infectiously enthusiastic and completely hilarious account of their cyclocross adventures on Youtube.
Finally, we launch our grand competition for the kindly donated Shutt Velo Rapide goodies. Visit our Facebook page for a clearer explanation than we may have managed to put across in the pod.
(Oh, and Graham would like to apologise for going a bit hors course with the music!)
