Oh, and don't feel too bad about the road race. If folk didn't finish and you did you're not last! It's a learned skill as well. I remember doing my PB for a 10 mile TT on a Wednesday night and the following Sunday struggling to hold the wheel of folk I'd beaten by minutes on the Wednesday. It does get easier the more road races you do, apparently. ;o)
