Wow – we looked like proper mountain bikers and everything in some of those pics!
With the benefit of rest, the pics kinda made me wish I was back there. I’ll post my own ramblings later but it was probably the hardest 2 laps I’ve ever done on a mtb but on the best trails I’ve ever ridden and with the best team in the world! Sniff…!
Stumpy – I couldn’t agree more. We need more of the same. of course we went out hard, i have never gone that fast, hard on a MTB ever, but you just had to. Was talking to my local bike shop guy, he’s done Relentless 24 and said it was awesome.
But first up, how about the black at Glentress. A real day out
A summer epic is most definitely in order. There are a few routes out in the hills near Peebles which look quite appetising too. Proper Big Day Out stuff (and starting over the road from Glentress too!)
